1. Get a shower filter to lower chlorine levels. Maybe a whole house filter, too?

Secondly, I wouldn’t be concerned whether or not you’re shedding. Some people shed a little bit, and some people don’t — but shedding is definitely NOT always a good sign (as you know). Some shedding is normal because of the nature of the massages. However, some people also shed because they create too much friction on the scalp skin, or they don’t allow for enough recovery time in between sessions. That’s not the good type of shed. So, don’t worry about not shedding 🙂 Regrowth is possible with or without the type of shedding you’re looking for.

Good question – I think I’m taking 150 every 3 weeks.  I will def ask about injecting myself – just concerned about the cost.  I initially started becuz of sexual issues…lower sex drive.  At one point I was going every 2 weeks and wanted to hump everything in site, and as a married man that wasn’t good, so I purposely scaled back to every 3 weeks.  That said, my overall concern is how long is it safe to say on this stuff.  I guess its safe until it’s not, but that’s just scary.  I’ve gone to 3 different urologists and they never have a straight answer.  I’ve now been off my shots for about 2 months….doing a little test drive to see how much of a difference it really is making…and I’m just now starting to feel a loss in strength and endurance in my workouts, BUT overall not too much else.  Anyway, that’s what prompted to me do a search for “possible” alternatives.

Subjects in both groups exercised for 0-3 hours a week and consumed similar quantities of protein per kilogram of body weight- though the vegetarians consumed more plant-based protein and the omnivores more animal-based protein.  Every three months, the researchers assessed the levels of serum sex hormones and SHBG in their blood. At the conclusion of the study, researchers observed similar levels of total testosterone in vegetarians and omnivores (respectively nmol/L vs. nmol/L) [9]. In contrast, the vegetarians had a 50% higher level of SHBG than did the omnivores (46 vs. 69 nmol/l) [9]. This suggests that a vegetarian-based protein diet increases SHBG without affecting total testosterone and ultimately leading to a decreasee in free testosterone.
