I've had a love/hate relationship with Le Male. I owned my first bottle dating back to around 1998 and have owned multiple bottles ever since. Over the years I've worn it less as I expanded my collection and eventually owned a weak reformulated bottle from 2015.
I was about to give up wearing this scent but picked up a bottle of the PUIG version (in a Christmas gift scent today).
What a difference. When I compare my watered down bottle to this latest reformulation, I can tell you that the lavender, mint, cinnamon, tonka....are all there, beautifully blended (once again) and more potent. I would agree that longevity isn't as strong as it once was, but the scent itself has that familiar strength to it, and it smells wonderful.
If you have been annoyed with how watered down Le Male has become in the past number of years, check out a bottle or box that says 'PUIG" on it....you'll be happy you did.
