Symptoms of low testosterone level in men

A very common problem that we see in our office everyday is Thyroid Underconversion . It is now widely accepted that there are 6 major patterns of thyroid dysfunction and only 1 of these patterns responds well to thyroid replacement. For the purpose of this post, I will discuss one of the more common patterns called Thyroid underconversion or Low T3 . Patients with Thyroid problems often suffer terrible with a laundry list of thyroid symptoms, but when the basic thyroid panel comes back the two main markers(TSH,T4) for hypothyroidism are normal. Why does this happen? If you read on, you will understand.

I had my thyroid taking out four years ago because of cancer. I take 200 Mcg Levothyroxine 6 days a week and 300 Mcg on the seventh day. I feel tired all the time but can hardly sleep. I also had neck surgery in 2016 and got staff infection and went a year without knowing I had this. For several years now my body temp. has run around 97 F but of late it is down around 95 F. Would this be from my thyroid being gone or from the staph infection. I was on antibiotics through a pic line for two months back in July and Aug. 2017 for the staph. I still have to take two antibiotics everyday for this. I am just concerned if my doctor is treating me right. I was suppose to have already had a full body scan to check for cancer but he says there is no need because blood levels look good. They where good while I had cancer before and while I had the staph infection also.

Menopause is one of the main causes of low estrogen levels. It begins and ends at a slightly different age for each woman, but it generally occurs between the ages of 45 and 60, with the average age being 51. Estrogen is one of the main female hormones produced by the ovaries; it helps the uterus get ready to receive a fertilized egg. One of the signs that menopause is around the corner is the decreasing levels of estrogen. The average woman’s body will begin to lose estrogen and show symptoms as early as 10 years before the start of menopause. This is typically when it is time to start looking at effective night sweats treatment options.

Low blood pressure readings in healthy subjects without symptoms or organ damage need no treatment. All patients with symptoms possibly due to low blood pressure should be evaluated by a doctor. Patients who have had a major drop in blood pressure from their usual levels even without the development of symptoms also should be evaluated. The doctor needs to identify the cause of the low blood pressure; remedies will depend on the cause. For example, if a medication is causing the low blood pressure, the dose of medication may have to be reduced or the medication stopped. Do not adjust medication dose on your own, and do not stop taking any medication without first consulting your doctor.
